ReplyDeleteOkay, at the end of Hour 1, I have written a total of 1,324 words. Taking a break for breakfast and maybe a shower.

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to think of what makes my story unique and I'm coming up blank. I'm hoping that what makes it unique is that it is about a girl that has a lot of obstacles in her life that make her feel trapped, and in the end she has to find a way to accept herself with those obstacles. Like, there is no magic wand that makes her obstacles go away....I don't know, now that I'm trying to write it out it doesn't sound right. I really need coffee!
Stories like that are always hard to explain until you write them... There's a John Green quote that goes something like "The truth resists simplification", or something like that. And I think that's why I like stories where the antagonist isn't demonized and characters are their own worst enemies. I'm hoping my character and voice are unique. My story is about a 16 year old kid on trial for murder. Exciting. :) But also research heavy, which makes the writing slow and will make the rewriting even slower.

DeleteJake & Joseph - Listen! I have 59 years "with God", witnessed over 80 incredible miracles and some multi-miracles in one. I have 2 sons also (age 36 and 37), Get to your dad NOW! CALL, talk more creative (I see how you can), write and send him pictures, ask for some, visit, help him, tell him your heart (as above). Tell him about "Jesus" before he dies!!!! FEARLESSLY. "The only way to The Father (heaven) is through The Son" (if you only knew what I know! LISTEN to me!) He will be spending eternity in hell otherwise! OMG! So sad!
ReplyDeleteI am a prophet (and "favoured"), since birth (28-'55-12< remember that date). My birthday is in the Bible (Old Testiment) Ps 28:5, Is 5:12 to the healing I received (a brand new spine) in 3 seconds from asking, alone in my house. My Mom's relatives were Jewish. I am the only one of her 9 children named after my Jewish ancestry, and the only one of any in my entire family of 11 who has all Bible names. I would not have known any of this info. if I didn't hear His voice nor follow Jesus Christ who said "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." I received a miraculous healing, fractured spine in a diving accident, suffered 9 years (and getting worse). In 3 seconds from asking "Jesus", my excruciating pain was instantly gone (to this day over 18 years), and, HIS HANDS (as real as mine) were inside me where the pain was for 3 days and 3 nights, but it was pluperfect for 1 whole month before my body felt totally normal again, like before the diving accident!!! You know, I WAS ONE WITH GOD!!! Mary was the only other person who held His hands longer than me ("one with God" for 9 months), for a reason, a BIG reason.
