HOUR THREE

One of the things I like about Pumped Up Kicks (besides how catchy it is) is how easy it is to make it your own.  It's the same song, but each of these versions, to me, seems different and unique and awesome.  There are going to be lots of covers, but below is the bands acoustic version.

QUOTE:
A lot of the quotes I've chosen seem to be about going after what you want and not waiting for it to be handed to you.  I mean, I play the lotto, I'd love to cash in my ticket and spend my days by my new pool with a martini and a lap-top, but chances are that is not going to happen.  And I better not be sitting around whining about it instead of writing my novel.

I love the quote below (I also love Fitzgerald for anyone who cares).  It's so true.  Part of being a hero is making a sacrifice for those you save.  The bigger the sacrifice, the bigger the hero.  But, depending on what the sacrifice is, it also means that from some point of view the hero is the villain.

  1. I had a good hour! 1419! Now I think it's time for a break. I need to shower and walk to the post office to mail off the Tris and Izzie ARC (which is a horrible, no good book!). I'm having a pretty productive morning, thanks Steph!!
